Near the Oakland-Berkeley interface, Fismalum is Demon Gerald's, fave portal. Now perpetually stoned, and deaf from sitting on rock concert speakers, he is materially no different to the casual observer than the living rock relics frequenting the area. Gerald adapts to the times, though, and has particularly gotten into the Goth scene. Though Satan does not approve of Gerald's light touch, he can't argue with the quantities of souls that Gerald introduces into hell. As an undead, Gerald is immune to disease, but he carries many, and his kisses are to die for, well, literally.
Oh, and the entrance is the hole below the median in the picture, not the large metal box in the background (that runs the stoplight). As the tube is hued from granite, it is recommended to use wax paper and corrugated cardboard for sliding the first 50 miles or so. After that the mantle glass takes over and it is easy sliding the rest of the way.
